Mercy Air Ambulance provides comprehensive air medical transport throughout northern California. Individuals are eligible for membership with Mercy Air Ambulance if they reside in one of the following counties: Siskiyou, Shasta, Lassen, Modoc, Del Norte, Humboldt, Trinity, Mendocino, Colusa, Glenn, Tehama, Butte, Sierra and Plumas.

Membership ensures that if you are transported by one of our aircraft, you will not have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses for your air transport: we will bill your helath insurance and accept what your insurance company pasy as "payment in full".

The flight crew includes highly experienced pilots, registered emergency nurses and flight paramedics, who are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Mercy Air Ambulance/PHI Air Medical makes every effort to respond to medical emergencies in a timely manner, as safety and availability allow.  They are trained to work closely with local fire departments, ground ambulances, law enforcement agencies, medical facilities and physicians to ensure safe, expedient and lifesaving care for patients.  Mercy Air Ambulance is proud to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems.
