Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta's hospice program provides medical, emotional and spiritual support for terminally ill patients.  Care is primarily based in the home, allowing families to stay together.  Led by the patient's physician, the caregiver team includes the hospice medical director, hospice nurse, home health aide, social worker, chaplain and volunteers. 

Medicare, Medi-Cal and most private insurance plans cover hospice services, and we rely heavily on community support to fund services for patients with little or no insurance.  For further information call (530) 926-6111 Ext 455
